Kansas City
Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview
In NFL
Week 11, the Kansas City Chiefs won their fifth
straight game and avenged their only defeat of the season. The last-second
35-31 win over Las Vegas continued their roll and put them in control of the
AFC West. On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked tired, limping
toward a late bye week.
Tom Brady,
the 43-year-old quarterback of the Buccaneers, appeared every bit his age in a
27-24 loss to the Rams. Two weak interceptions made Brady look human, something
that rarely happened in his 20 years in New England.

Recap
One of the
most difficult things to do in the NFL is to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
Not many teams have been successful, but the Chiefs are well-positioned to give
it a run. They lead the league in points scored and passing offense.
As
impressive as they've been, the Chiefs' record has been built against a weak
schedule. The cumulative winning percentage of their opponents is a meager
.425. That doesn't mean they haven't faced any tough defenses, though.
In their
best effort, the Chiefs shredded the Ravens for 517 yards while holding
Baltimore to 228, winning 34-20. They also stepped up against Buffalo,
defeating the Bills 26-17 by holding the Bills to 206 total yards.
The
Buccaneers have two wins against winning teams, back to back against Green Bay
and Las Vegas. After running its record to 5-2, Tampa Bay has lost two of its
last three games. That includes a 38-3 drubbing by New Orleans.
Looking at NFL
scores, you see the Bucs were held to an average of 223 yards in those
losses, versus a 358-yard season average.
In their
last game against the Rams, the Bucs, especially Brady, appeared in need of a
week off. They'll have to wait until after their meeting with the Chiefs for a
bye. The Week 13 vacation is the latest in league history.

Game
Preview
Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes was able to rally the Chiefs for a big win against the Raiders
last week. The Bucs weren't successful against the Rams, with a Brady
interception ending their chances.
The
strength of the Bucs defense is against the run, but the Chiefs lead the league
in passing. Los Angeles put up 376 yards against the Bucs through the air,
despite amassing just 37 yards on the ground. Kansas City has had its best
results against good defenses.
The Chiefs
are hot; the Bucs are tired. The 3.5 points Kansas City's giving up doesn't
seem like much with its firepower.
The Chiefs
look like a good bet to beat the spread, and they should be able to contain the
Bucs. That 56.5 over/under looks high.
