be the year of the edge rusher. As many as three pass rushers could go among
the top five picks in the draft.

action in a number of different prop bets. Here are the best offered at offshore

No. 2
Overall Pick in the Draft
All signs point to
the Jacksonville Jaguars taking Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson with the first
overall pick of this draft. Hutchinson is favored at -200 to go No. 1.
The next pick in the
draft goes to Detroit. The Lions are also in the market for an elite edge
rusher. They can get just that by selecting Georgia’s Travon Walker.
Walker is 6-5,
weighs 275, and ran a 4.51 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. He’s also listed at
+450 to go second overall.

Quarterback - 2022 NFL Draft Bets
The 2022 NFL draft
is not full of elite franchise-type quarterbacks. There are a few guys though
that could become starters as rookies.
One of those is the
overall favorite, Malik Willis. He is given -150 odds to be the first
quarterback selected in this draft. Willis transferred from Auburn to Liberty
where he starred for two seasons.
At the NFL combine,
Willis displayed serious arm strength and his athletic ability is outstanding.
Willis rushed for 800 yards or more in each of his two seasons at Liberty. Will
these metrics play out in real life? Take a look at some sports betting nuances to consider.
The first team in
the draft that is expected to consider a quarterback with their first pick is
Carolina. The Panthers pick No. 6. Sam Darnold is their guy right now, but head
coach Matt Rhule has an interesting connection to another quarterback in this
draft.
Prior to committing
to Pittsburgh, Kenny Pickett actually committed to Temple which was coached by
none other than Rhule. There’s no question Rhule and the Panthers are
interested. There’s also no question that Pickett is the most NFL-ready of all
quarterbacks in this year’s draft.
Pickett is a better
value at +150 to be the first quarterback selected in 2022.

Wide Receiver of the Draft Board
Looking at the
betting board in this category, it appears to be a two-horse race between Ohio
State’s Garrett Wilson and USC’s Drake London.
Wilson has all the
measurables. He’s a little on the slight side at 6-0 and 189 pounds, but he’s a
4.3 guy who runs excellent routes.
London is the
prototypical big receiver. He’s 6-4 and weighs right around 220. He has good
speed and outstanding hands. He also suffered a broken ankle near the end of
last season.
Wilson is listed at
+110 and London at +200 at top bookies to be the first wide receiver
picked. Of the teams with the first ten picks, only one - the Jets - lists wide
receiver as a need.
The wild card in the
whole thing is Alabama WR Jameson Williams. If you remember, Williams got hurt
in the national title game. He wasn’t able to workout for teams, but his
profile speaks for itself.
He’s a shade under
6-2, is slight at 180 pounds, but he can run and is a solid route runner that
can break open games. Williams caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards and 15
touchdowns last season before the injury. He also had two kick return
touchdowns and was the SEC’s Co-Special Teams Player of the Year.
With the success of
recent Alabama wide receivers in the NFL, it’s likely a team rolls the dice on
Williams, who is listed at +250 to be the first receiver gone on draft day.
